Boats, bulls, and people risking it all for the ’gram.

I’ve been to floating markets before — that was eons ago and with friends — so I thought I’d revisit and booked a group tour. Overall, not much has changed. The activity had the boat circle the market once before setting us down. It’s fine if it’s your first time, but for me, it felt a little like a time filler.

Most stalls didn’t accept cash or Thai Prompt Pay since they weren’t registered businesses, so I was lucky to find a 7-11 nearby for a quick meal.

Next up: the train market. It was fascinating to watch — especially the part where people stayed on the tracks for photo ops even as the train was arriving. Risky, but I guess that’s the thrill.

We ended off at a bull café. Nothing much to shout about drinks-wise, but the restrooms? Pretty nice.

Overall, for the number of stops and convenience, this tour’s still a steal.

🌟 Final Verdict: Was SGD50 Worth It?

Worth-it meter:

A simple half-day tour that covers the key markets — ideal if you’ve never been or want something easy. Personally wouldn’t repeat, but it’s a decent pick if you’ve never checked it off your Bangkok list.

Transport: BTS Pass

Transport: Rabbit card
