If you only have time for one full-day activity from Ho Chi Minh, this might be it.
For SGD60 (transport included), I went on a Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta combo tour — and I still think about it.
✔️ Cu Chi Tunnels: Learn about the underground traps and tactics used during the war — from crawling into the actual tunnels (if you dare!) to seeing the hidden entrances and creative defenses. It was both surreal and sobering.
✔️ Mekong Delta: After the tunnels, we cruised down the Mekong on a traditional boat, visited a coconut candy workshop (free samples 👀 – depending on tour booked), and watched local musicians perform folk songs.
It was a full-day journey, both literally and emotionally.
📌 Tip: Book the one with attraction tickets included — saves hassle and avoids surprise costs.
