Full-day tour with transport, surreal temples, and a bathroom you’ll actually want to visit.
Picked up from McDonald’s Thapae Chiang Mai at 8am, this full-day tour was a visual feast. Though the group was rowdier than usual (earphones recommended for naps), the sights more than made up for it.
Here’s where we went:
✔️ White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) – Delicate, intricate, and oddly celestial. It felt like walking through a dream — or a heaven/hell mix.
✔️ Black House (Baan Dam Museum) – A moody, gothic-style estate filled with eerie wooden structures.
✔️ Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) – Deep blue and gold interior that looks straight out of a fantasy novel.
🛑 Bonus: Head to the bathroom at the White Temple — it’s gold. Yes, the entire thing. A literal royal flush experience.

🎯 Tour Tips
- Make sure your package includes attraction entry tickets — some don’t.
- Pickup was at a central and popular point with multiple groups departing, so double-check your guide’s signboard.
- Drop-off was near the Chiang Mai Night Market, which makes for a great end to the day.
🌟 Final Verdict: Was SGD40 Worth It?
Absolutely. For a full-day guided tour with transport, scenic temples, and some unforgettable visuals, it’s a solid must-do.
