Some meals just stick with you. Whether it was the spice, the setting, or the fact that I had to negotiate to even get a seat — these were the ones that made an impression. If you’re eating solo in Korea, here are the three Busan bites I still think about.

🔥 My Forever Favourites:

🍲 Gaemijip (Main Branch)
Spicy baby octopus and sizzling plates. I ate here almost daily. Like many places in Korea, they expect at least two diners — but the staff kindly let me stay as long as I ordered two portions. Some spots won’t even do that. Respect.

🔥 Toppoki at Haeundae Market
Cheap, saucy, and generous. The kind of street food that warms you up from the inside out — especially after a breezy beach walk.

🍦 Honeycomb Ice Cream
Yes, I had it in winter. Yes, it was freezing. And yes, I’d do it again. Sweet, creamy, and way better than I expected.
