Honestly, I don’t remember why I booked Perth — probably the convenience of a direct flight. But I’m glad I did. The city feels more residential, slower-paced, and honestly, a nice reset if you’re looking for something less intense than Melbourne or Sydney.

→ I stayed near Leederville, which gave me a mix of food, boutique stores, and walkability to the city.
→ Great vibe without being too far from central Perth.
🍽️ Food: ~SGD70/day
→ Plenty of international options, but Fremantle Market days were the highlight.
→ Most meals were from Leederville or the city centre.

→ Perth’s public transport is easy to use and reliable. No drama.

→ Gym, groceries, casual shopping, and art events around the city.

✅ Airbnb works great here — especially in neighbourhoods like Leederville with kitchen access.
✅ Hotels in the city centre are a better pick if you want convenience over character.
📌 Perth feels more residential than other Aussie cities. If you’re not looking for nightlife or chaos, this is a solid base for a gentler, more local month.
